The Concourse is a state-of-the-art entertainment and events precinct, comprises a 1000 seats concert hall, 500 patrons theatre, a civic pavilion, the new library, 400 car parking bays, rehearsal room, music studios, restaurants and office space. The library is served by chilled beams and a VAV system, under floor heating combined with natural ventilation will temper the air in the large foyers.

SMART Infrastructure Facility

The SMART Infrastructure Facility gross floor area is approximately 12,000m² which consists of a four storey. The building comprises a large open area for manufacturing, research and teaching – features include’ overhead gantry facilities, specialised research facilities, teaching laboratories, collective research spaces, lecture theatres and teaching spaces to assist with research in transport modelling, supply chains and monitoring and analysis of infrastructure. The SMART Infrastructure Facility has been designed to meet a 4 star green star rating and includes detailed services, solar panels, low VOC content through internal finishes, day-light monitoring, skylights and open-able windows. 


Prince of Wales Private Hospital Redevelopment (Stage Land 2)

Illawarra health and Medical Research Institute

Pharmaxis is an Australian specialist pharmaceutical company that researches, develops and commercialises new therapies for respiratory diseases. They have recently completed the construction of their new manufacturing facility and company headquarters in Frenchs Forest.This facility has been designed to supply sufficient Bronchitrol to treat approximately 40,000 patients per year. 


149 Castlereagh Street, Sydney

The building incorporates three levels of retail accommodation and 10 levels of high quality office accommodation, with floor areas of more than 1,000 square metres. The total area is approximately 13,056 square metres, including approximately 10,700 square metres of office accommodation and 2,300 square metres of retail space. The building is served by a gas driven VRV system due to the lack of electrical power supply. 


SITA Waste Management Facility

The project has significant impact on green house gases by diverting a minimum 60% to 70% of waste from landfill.  This is the equivalent of taking around 19000 vehicles off the road and reducing green house gas emissions by 75,000 tonnes of CO2 per year.  The facility will recover metal, paper and plastic recycling as well as compost green waste and residual food waste to produce compost for use in commercial markets, forestry, agriculture and land remedial activities. 


8 Central Avenue

8 Central Avenue is now home to Channel 7, Pacific Magazines, Global Television services and various tenants. The building comprises approximately 12 storey high, 40,000m2 of net lettable area. Included are four television studios and associated facilities, and 750 car spaces over two levels of parking. The project included the entire building fit-out. The project has been designed to achieve a 4.5-Star NABERS Energy rating, and has achieved a 4 Star Green Star—Office Design v2 rating from the Green Building Council of Australia. The four television studios sized for 860 Watt per m2 of heat load, with chilled beams associated with low noise swirl diffusers. 


Victor Trumper Grandstand

The project involved the construction of a new grandstand comprising four floors.  The new grandstand accommodates 12,000 patrons, private function facilities and corporate seating areas. VRV and AVI cooled systems, impulse cooling duct exhaust fans validated by a CFD study. 


Asbestos Disease Research Institute (ADRI)

ANZAC Research Institute, Concord NSW

This state of the art facility is located adjacent to the ANZAC Research Institute at Concord Hospital and is the world’s first stand-alone research facility dedicated to asbestos-related disease.  The building comprises of a 2,700 sqm 2 storey research facility with six wet laboratories, two dry laboratories, shared core laboratories, education and meeting rooms. 


77 King Street, Sydney

Located on the south west corner of King and George Street, 77 King Street is an existing 19 storey building in Sydney’s CBD. The project is a refurbishment of the 19 storey building (comprised of 17 levels plus two basements) upon which a five level additiont. The building is  an A Grade building in accordance with the Property Council of Australia guidelines. Major retail tenants include Rebel Sport  and Apple. The upper levels are leased as commercial office space. The building is served by passive chilled beams in the centre zones and active chilled beams in the perimeter zones,  central chilled and heating hot water systems. 


Australian Film Television and Radio School

The 12,000 m2 building required highly specified services and acoustic requirements, comprised four teaching computer laboratories, three workshop studios, recording studios, teaching rooms, sound editing suites, picture editing suite, music composition suites, video editing suites, and a library.  Also included, a 120 seat theatre, a state of the art 5.1 mixing/screening theatres with seating for 40 and television studios, and three recording studios were also included.Other facilities comprise 10 sound editing suites, 10 picture editing suites, four music composition suites, two online video editing suites, and contemporary digital radio studio facilities, including three on-air studios 


Alchemy Apartments and Kirribilli Club

The project includes three levels of underground car park and new premises for the Kirribilli Club.  The club facilities include function rooms, commercials kitchens, bars a stylish cocktail lounge, state of the art conference facilities and gaming areas.  Above the blub are 20 luxury private apartments.  All apartments are over 200m² in internal area. 


6 Elizabeth MaCarthur Drv Norwest

This building hosts the responsibility for national monetary policy and stability of the financial system. This facility is a secure secondary site whose operations can sustain its critical business and IT activities, should it lose access to its CBD head office.  At its hub is a data  centre and dealing room. The building is designed to achieve a 4.5 AGBR star energy rating. 


Roche, RADS HQ and Conference Centre

The project consists of a multi level commercial building, refurbishment of the existing administration building and cafeteria and modifications to warehousing buildings. In compliance with Roche world wide policy Ammonia chillers are serving the buildings. 


RAAF Base Richmond, Combines Squadron Headquarters
April 2006 ($1.3 M)

RAAF Base Richmond, NSWA new headquarters building for Nos 36 and 37 Squadrons at RAAF Richmond which has been awarded with an Australian Excellence Five-Star Green Star Rating by the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) for both its “design” by Bligh Voller Nield and “as-built” construction by Baulderstone Hornibrook. The headquarters building was constructed as part of the RAAF Base Richmond Reinvestment Project, which also included a range of building and critical infrastructure upgrades. Central chilled water and heating hot water systems, with natural cross ventilation through window louvres, hollow slab and ventilation towers 


The Monument

20 Pelican Street DarlinghurstThis luxury apartment complex comprises 191 apartments over 16 levels. There are 86 one-bedroom, 68 two-bedroom and 37 three-bedroom apartments’. The complex is located above the Oxford Square Shopping Centre, which houses a supermarket, Fitness First gym, bank, dentist, hair and beauty salons, solarium, oriental massage centre, bottle shop, gift shop and various food outlets.


Juniperina Juvenile Justice Centre

This luxury apartment complex comprises 191 apartments over 16 levels. There are 86 one-bedroom, 68 two-bedroom and 37 three-bedroom apartments’. The complex is located above the Oxford Square Shopping Centre, which houses a supermarket, Fitness First gym, bank, dentist, hair and beauty salons, solarium, oriental massage centre, bottle shop, gift shop and various food outlets. 


Nortel Networks Head Office

Macquarie University Research Park, North Ryde

The 10,000 m2 building comprises two and a half levels of parking, ground floor and four upper levels.  The central feature is an 8.5 meter wide full height atrium that maximizes the entry of natural light.  The total office building is one fine compartment.  Nortel Networks 6,500m² was part of the integrated fit out.  The project won a Sulman Award.
